July 2011
A workshop was commissioned by KAF (Kidderminster Arts Festival) with artist Fiona Campbell supporting local children and adults to participate in creating a Dragonfly and a Water-boatman. Pre designed drawings were used as templates, and with care, wire was cut to size, shaped according to the design. Then covered in coloured wires, this enabled an iridescent effect, with a hope that once the works had been installed they would 'catch the sunshine' and become more reflective. See below some of the photos depicting the creation.
Sadly the Dragonfly was removed from the Stack in January 2014 - apparently the reason was that it had a 'timed position', and that time had come to an end.
