How we started

In the Autumn of 2009 a small group of people, with support from Vestia, established
Friends of Springfield Park with the aim of developing and improving the facilities. One of the first events in the Summer of 2010 was The Big Picnic in the Park. In the following year it became a Zumbathon and the year after that, ‘Spring into Summer’. Every year since, the totally free Family Funday has continued to bring hundreds of people to the park for a day of fun and games. |
